While V Cycle specializes in plastic recycling and re-manufacturing, our mission goes further addressing Hong Kong’s waste challenges from every angle. In collaboration with SINO Group, we transformed an escalator space at China Hong Kong City by processing and supplying reclaimed glass to emulate sand in a Zen garden. A space that was once an unused and overlooked area beneath a escalator is now a standout feature at the entrance of China Hong Kong City.

An Unlikely Zen Garden in China Hong Kong City
With the help of our elderly team we had sorted around 2000+ glass bottles for this project. To emulate the sand/rocks found in a zen garden we had reclaimed 250KG of glass, mixing white and brown glass together to better simulate the color of sand.
