Creating the future with your waste

Ideas are better when they’re shared. Over the years, we’ve joined forces with amazing clients to push creative boundaries and make an impact. Here are some of the stories, projects, and partnerships that have defined our journey.

OUR past collaborations

NESA Pickleball x V Cycle Collection Program and Bins

With an average lifespan of just 10 to 40+ games, have you ever wondered what happens to your pickleballs once they’re worn out? At V Cycle, we’ve partnered with NESA Pickleball Club, to give your used balls a second life, so you’ll always know exactly where they’re going. At V Cycle, we process retired pickleballs into usable feedstock, transforming them into something new beyond the court.

MUJI APM Store Entrance

V Cycle produced custom decorative panels from recycled plastic for the front entrances of the Kwun Tong APM MUJI branch. These sheets transformed post-consumer waste into a visually striking installation, creating an immediate statement on sustainability for every customer entering the store.

Open MUJI Exhibitions

V Cycle partnered with MUJI on an exhibition in three different MUJI branches (Causeway Bay, Tsim Sha Tsui and Kowloon Bay) of bespoke furniture made from post-consumer plastic, demonstrating our circular economy mission. We complemented the display with interactive workshops where attendees created mini flower pots from shredded plastics, turning sustainability theory into a tangible, hands-on experience.

MEGA Beauty Empties Recycling Program

V Cycle's partnership with L’Occitane, established in 2021, supports the MEGA Beauty Empties Recycling Program for in-store collection. To close the loop and honor staff efforts, a selection of this waste is repurposed into soap dishes for employees, acknowledging their vital role in driving the program's success.

CGS Uniforms

Our landmark partnership with the EPD introduces eco-innovative uniforms manufactured from recycled plastics. This initiative actively engages the local community while establishing new benchmarks for sustainable practices within the industry.

Recycled Friso Lid Plant Pots

What happens to a plastic lid after its job is done? We partnered with Friso and Watsons to find a better answer. Through this collaboration, V Cycle collected post-consumer Friso milk powder lids and brought them to our in-house recycling facilities. Instead of becoming waste, these iconic gold and green lids have been reborn as beautiful, functional flower pots. By maintaining the original brand colors, we celebrate the material’s history while giving it a new purpose. The result? We recycled 1,728 kg of plastic and demonstrated how creative recycling can build a circular future.

China Hong Kong City Zen Garden

A forgotten spot under an escalator is now one of the mall's most peaceful destinations. V Cycle worked with Sino Properties to collect 60 kg of their glass waste and process it into fine sand for a custom zen garden at China Hong Kong City mall. What was once headed for landfill now invites shoppers to pause and reflect. The installation proves that with creativity and collaboration, even the most unlikely spaces can be transformed into something meaningful.

Recycling Station (Coca-Cola Active Run 2025)

How can a bottle cap become something more? We partnered with Swire Coca-Cola to find out. Through this collaboration, V Cycle collected post-consumer bottle caps processed by New Life Plastics and transformed them into durable panels for recycling bins. Manufactured right here in Hong Kong, this project turns local waste into a visible tool for more waste reduction. The result is a powerful demonstration of how cross-sector collaboration can close the loop and bring circular design to life.

Nestle and Hong Chi Recycled Coaster

Five years. 8,600 kg of plastic. Over 262,000 containers recycled. Since 2020, the "Type 5 PP Plastic Recycling Campaign"—a partnership between Nestlé, the Hong Chi Association, and V Cycle—has turned food containers into something more. Now entering its fifth year, the campaign is deepening its roots with Carbon Wallet rewards their waste is transformed into rPP coasters made from the very containers they return. It is a full-circle moment—proof that consistency and community can keep a movement moving forward.

Cosmetics Collection Program

Partnering with L'Oreal, V Cycle powers a recycling initiative that rewards sustainability. Customers can now return their used and cleaned cosmetic bottles at designated collection points in Watson's stores, earning points and rewards for their efforts. This collected packaging is then processed by V Cycle and transformed into new materials, turning returned waste into valuable resources for a circular beauty economy.
