GENERAL ACCEPTED ITEMS for recycling
We accept a variety of general plastic items for recycling, including containers such as bottles, jugs, and tubs, as well as packaging materials like plastic bags, wraps, and films. Other accepted items include rigid plastics such as buckets, crates, and bins, along with household plastics like disposable cutlery, plates, and cups. Please ensure all plastics are clean and free from food residue before recycling to help maintain quality in the recycling process.

What do we do with your recyclables afterwards?
Our collection is the start of a complete V Cycle circular system.
Sorted recyclables go through a stringent factory process in Hong Kong. For instance, plastics go through separating, shredding and cleaning, melting and forming into pellets that can be used as raw material for creating new products.
Pre-treatment
For plastic recyclables, the baled materials are taken apart and go through automated sorting.
Shredding
Plastics are then shredded and washed inside a large industrial water tank to separate the contaminants, such as sticky labels, using a sink float mechanism.
Melting
These shredded and washed flakes are dried, melted and extruded into long strands. The strands are then cooled down in cold water.
Pelletising
Once cooled, the strands are chopped into small pellets. These recycled pellets are then fed back into the circular economy to manufacture new products.
