Since 2021, our partnership with L'Occitane has served as a cornerstone example of effective local recycling. L'Occitane has gone a step beyond standard recycling practices by not only ensuring their own materials are properly recycled but also actively educating their customers on the importance of recycling and the correct methods to do so. The efforts from L'Occitane have been central to the success and recyclability of their plastic waste into new forms.

Turning Waste into an Educational Experience
With the recent revamp of their Pacific Place store, we have provided L'Occitane with 12 circular signage displays that allow customers to see, feel, and understand their environmental impact in a tangible, hands-on way. Each sign utilizes approximately 800g of plastic waste in its creation which accounts for a total of 400 shampoo bottles. Each sign displays a different materials ranging from recycled soap dishes to rPET fabrics available for the public to interact with, creating a unique in-store experience for their customers.
