WHERE WASTE
FINDS PURPOSE
transforming waste, empowering lives
We see value where others see trash. By recycling discarded materials, we are actively building a bridge from waste to opportunity. Our work is driven by education that empowers, material innovation that challenges the status quo, and collaboration that strengthens communities. Together, these elements power a circular ecosystem designed for good. This ecosystem does more than just divert waste; it creates pathways to dignified employment for people from marginalized communities. We are proving that when you uplift people and restore the planet in unison, you create a powerful, self-sustaining cycle of positive change that benefits everyone.

OUR KEY SECTORS
At V Cycle, we are proud to partner with brands across a diverse spectrum of industries, from education to beauty. Our expertise is grounded in a deep understanding of six key sectors, allowing us to tailor our circular solutions to the unique rhythms of each. In the fast-paced world of health and beauty, we help manage complex packaging and single-use items, while in corporate offices, we streamline the recycling of paper, cardboard, and electronics. We bring this same specialized approach to schools, where our work doubles as an educational tool, and to sports retail, where we tackle the specific challenges of textiles and returns. For the high-volume environments of warehouses and factories, we optimize the recovery of industrial materials like plastics and pallets, and in the hospitality sector, we design comprehensive programs for properties and hotels that enhance their sustainability credentials. Across every sector, V Cycle provides the expertise to turn sector-specific waste into shared opportunity.

What Can We Recycle?
At V Cycle, our work begins with the diverse waste streams generated across Hong Kong. We actively collect a wide range of materials from various locations throughout the city, spanning from glass cosmetic bottles discarded by the beauty industry to the mixed plastic packaging waste produced by offices, retailers, and hotels. These materials don't travel far for processing. Leveraging our robust recycling infrastructure, which is based right here in Hong Kong, we have the capability to sort, clean, and process your waste locally. This commitment to onshore processing not only reduces carbon emissions associated with shipping waste abroad but also ensures complete transparency and control over the recycling journey. Our core technical expertise lies in recycling most plastic types, with the sole exception of Type 3 PVC. Through this process, we transform what was once considered waste into valuable raw materials, giving them a new purpose and keeping them in circulation within the local economy.
MUJI APM Store Entrance
V Cycle produced custom decorative panels from recycled plastic for the front entrances of the Kwun Tong APM MUJI branch. These sheets transformed post-consumer waste into a visually striking installation, creating an immediate statement on sustainability for every customer entering the store.
Watsons & L'Oreal Collection Program
V Cycle's partnership with L’Occitane, established in 2021, supports the MEGA Beauty Empties Recycling Program for in-store collection. To close the loop and honor staff efforts, a selection of this waste is repurposed into soap dishes for employees, acknowledging their vital role in driving the program's success.
